Basement Tours
Join us as we discover the secrets of the Castle’s basement – the physical plant and work hub for domestic staff in this state-of-the-art mountaintop mansion built in 1914.
The 45-minute guided tour will cover the highlights of the Castle’s unique construction in 1914, the ultra-modern appliances and amenities enjoyed by owners Tom and Olive Plant, and a glimpse into the lives of the servants who helped run and manage the Lucknow Estate in the 1910s and 1920s.

Basement Tour tickets are limited; we recommend coming to the Castle early in the day to ensure you can purchase your tickets. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
