Place your order at the bar, then find a seat – your food will be delivered to you as soon as it is ready. From Henry: The Carriage House Restaurant at Castle in the Clouds is hands down one of the most scenic spots in all of Lake Winnipesaukee. The view from the terrace is absolutely jaw-dropping—especially on a clear day. We were lucky enough to catch a calm day with very little wind, and having lunch with that panorama laid out before us was an experience in itself. The food was delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Prices are on the higher side, but honestly, you’re paying for the spectacular location and atmosphere. It’s well worth it for a relaxing, memorable meal.
From Olga: We came here for a night of excellent live music and delicious food and we got it! It was raining so we were inside, in what used to be stables, which gave the dinner such a cool vibe. The service was quick, and the food was very tasty- my favorite was definitely the lamb shank. The outdoors looks amazing, with views of the lakes and mountains, I can’t wait to come back on a day with better weather.
