Partnerships

The following partners are committed to helping us share the historic Lucknow Estate with the public and we are truly grateful for their participation to enhance the visitor experience at Castle in the Clouds.

Advice To The Players - Sandwich's Shakespeare Company

Advice to the Players

Advice To The Players is a unique company of theatre professionals, enthusiastic community members and energetic teens that has been performing Shakespeare and offering workshops in New Hampshire’s Lakes and White Mountains Regions since 1999.

We are bringing live theater to the Castle with help from this local theater company. The summer usually brings a performance to Castle in the Clouds in addition to the annual “Twelfth Night” performances in the Winnipesaukee Room each December.

Bewitched Acres a Honey Bee Farm

Bewitched Acres LLC - A Honey Bee Farm

Bewitched Acres is a small and growing female owned honey bee farm in Meredith. We provide the lakes region with local honey, northern adapted bees, and hive products. We advocate for honey bees and pollinators through public outreach and education both on and off the farm.

With bee hives on property as of 2024, we are working together for a more sustainable future, bee-centered programming, and bee-made products for sale in our gift shop.

Great Waters Summer Concerts

Great Waters

Each summer, since 2021, guests can come see a live musical event under the Great Waters tent in the meadow at Castle in the Clouds. Guests can take in the spectacular views while enjoying a rock concert, tribute band or performance from a Broadway star. We provide the venue, Great Waters provides the music!

Area Information: Lakes Region Conservation Trust

Lakes Region Conservation Trust

Our partnership with LRCT goes all the way back to the formation of the Castle Preservation Society in 2006. While CPS is responsible for the management and upkeep of our historic buildings, it is LRCT that manages the Castle in the Clouds hiking trails. Moultonborough Recreation Department is a longstanding partner that has contributed to a wide array of program collaborations, including the annual Halloween Pumpkin Walk.

Moultonborough Public Library

Moultonborough Public Library

Beginning in 2022, the Moultonborough Library and Castle in the Clouds have engaged in program collaborations that started with Story Time with their librarian at Castle in the Clouds and our staff acting as guest lecturers for Castle-centric library programs. At various times during the year, one can visit the library to see exhibits from past Castle in the Clouds galleries as well. Each year we work towards expanding our collaborations and hope to continue doing so for years to come.

NH Astronomical Society (NHAS)

New Hampshire Astronomical Society

Since 2015, NHAS and Castle in the Clouds have engaged in program collaborations, with Castle in the Clouds hosting NHAS-run stargazing and solar gazing programs.

Tin Mountain Conservation Center

Tin Mountain Conservation Center

In addition to program collaborations, we are hoping this new partnership will bring a member exchange and help encourage people to enjoy the outdoors, whether at the Castle or at Tin Mountain.

Partnership with like-minded organizations allows Castle in the Clouds to extend our reach in service to our community. If you are interested in partnering more with us, please fill out this form.
