Back in the Saddle at the Castle

Back In The Saddle Equine Therapy Center (aka BITS ETC) provides therapeutic riding and equine-assisted learning opportunities to children, youth, and adults with various physical, emotional, developmental and mental health challenges. We offer services to people to include but not limited to those with autism, ADD/ADHD, muscular and skeletal diseases and disorders, learning disabilities, and those with vision or hearing impairments.Through riding sessions, we help our clients develop a “spirit that overcomes their disability.” BITS ETC also offers services for uniformed professionals at no cost to them. 

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, BITS ETC also created the SOAR program to help address the mental health crisis our youth face. A combination of equine therapy and mental health counseling, the SOAR program provides essential tools to address mental health challenges our youth may face. As part of this program, we have partnered with many local schools to provide this program to students during the school day. At BITS ETC, we focus on meeting our community’s needs wherever they may be.

Please note: this is the address for the Carriage House. You will have to park before arriving at this address.

This program will take place near the horse barn on Castle in the Clouds property. Just before you arrive at the fork in the road, use the Hiker & Event Parking area on your left. Then, use the footpath to walk in the direction of the horse barn.

All ticket sales are final; no refunds, transfers to other days, or exchanges.

This program will be held rain or shine. If inclement weather is forecasted, the program will be held inside the horse barn. If the Castle has to cancel for extenuating circumstances, you will be notified via phone or email and a full refund will be available.
