Your Wedding in the Clouds
From the moment your guests arrive to the final send-off, your wedding day at Castle in the Clouds is designed to feel seamless, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable. Below is a helpful overview of what to expect as your day unfolds.
Getting Here & Guest Arrival
For the smoothest arrival, guests should use our Ossipee Park Road entrance:

While many GPS systems may direct guests to our front gate on Old Mountain Road, this entrance may be closed or cause delays for event access. The Ossipee Park Road entrance offers the most direct and reliable route.
Upon arrival, guests will be directed to the main parking lot located just before the Gift Shop.
Guests requiring closer access may continue past the Gift Shop, where limited accessible parking is available across from the Carriage House.
Arrival & Trolley Service
From the main parking lot, guests will take a short 1–2 minute walk to the Carriage House, where trolley transportation pick up is located.
Trolleys begin transporting guests to the ceremony site approximately 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. For a 5:00 PM ceremony, trolley service begins at 4:30 PM.
We recommend guests use the restrooms at the Carriage House prior to boarding, as facilities are not available at the ceremony site.
To ensure an uninterrupted ceremony experience, trolley service will pause once the ceremony begins. Guests arriving after this time will not be transported to the ceremony site.
Following the ceremony, trolley service will resume to return guests to the Carriage House for the remainder of the celebration.
Trolley service concludes once all guests have departed the ceremony site. Transportation to the parking lot is not provided at the end of the evening.

We are happy to assist with accessibility needs whenever possible. Please let us know in advance if you know of anyone who may need assistance. We have plans in place help all guests enjoy every aspect of their time on property.

The outline below reflects a typical wedding day based on a 5:00 PM ceremony:
5:00 – 5:30 PM
Ceremony on the Lawn at Lucknow
5:30 – 6:30 PM
Cocktail Hour on the Carriage House Terrace
6:30 – 10:30 PM
Reception in the Winnipesaukee Room upstairs of the Carriage House or at the Meadows at Shannon Pond
Our day-of coordination team will guide each transition, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from beginning to end.
Beverage Policy
Bar service is provided exclusively through Castle in the Clouds.
All alcohol served on property must be provided by our licensed bar service. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
Bar service will conclude 30 minutes prior to the end of your event.
Nearby Accommodations
For guests traveling to celebrate with you, there are a variety of nearby lodging options to suit different preferences.
Charming inns, Airbnbs, and VRBO rentals can be found throughout the surrounding towns, offering a cozy and local experience close to the property.
For larger hotels and waterfront stays, many guests choose to stay in nearby towns such as Wolfeboro and Meredith, both approximately 25–30 minutes away.

We recommend booking early, especially during peak wedding season.
