Orienteering Scavenger Hunt

Using compasses, old photos, clues, and teamwork, students find their way around the Castle in the Clouds property to discover how the land has changed over time, both on its own and due to human interactions. Each student will receive a map to fill in at each location, as well as a worksheet to help them track how the land has changed over time.

Castle Theme(s):

• The land now known as Castle in the Clouds provided plentiful resources to those who used it before becoming the Lucknow Estate.
• In the years since Tom Plant’s death, the Lucknow Estate has served as a gathering place for families and community members.
