Students learn about Tom Plant and what it took to manage Lucknow Estate before learning how to budget and manage money during an activity that is reminiscent of The Game of Life.
Lesson Objectives:
● I CAN explain the benefits of financial planning
● I CAN demonstrate the material by constructing a response to different financial decisions that may have
benefited Mr. Plant and the Lucknow Estate.
● I CAN recognize the importance of money management.

● If you were Mr. Plant, what would you have done differently with the Lucknow Estate?
● Did your financial goals change after this lesson?
● How does understanding the difference between needs and wants help inform your financial decisions?
