Solar Gazing

Marc Stowbridge lives in central New Hampshire and astronomy has been an interest of his ever since childhood when he watched the first satellites crossing the sky. Since joining the New Hampshire Astronomical Society (NHAS) in 1999, he has participated in many sky watches and was Chair of the Outreach Committee for several years. Marc is a NASA/JPL volunteer educator through the Solar System Ambassador program.

This program is weather-dependent. In the event that weather conditions are not right, there will be a drop-by astronomy presentation in the Winnipesaukee Room on the second floor of the Carriage House instead. Registrants will be notified via email the day of the program if we have to move it indoors.

In the case of the Castle Preservation Society canceling the program for extenuating circumstances, registrants will be notified of cancelation via phone or email.
