Dining & Menus
Our lunch menu offers options ranging from soups and salads to sandwiches and full entrees, with several vegetarian options as well as items that can be made gluten free. We’ll have a separate dinner menu for all Music Nights. We’ve received rave reviews for everything from our grilled cheese to our lobster roll!
Outdoor seating on our terrace offers views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding mountains. There are few other restaurants in the Lakes Region that offer the views comparable to those you’ll find from our Terrace. And if the weather isn’t ideal for outdoor seating, rest assured – we have tables inside as well! The interior of the building has remained relatively untouched and guests can dine indoors, in what were once the original horse stalls. Click here for a virtual tour of our indoor and outdoor dining areas.
During our busy season (early August as well as Fall Foliage season) we can have a wait-list of up to an hour or more in the restaurant. We do not take reservations for lunch, so we highly suggest arriving early, especially if you have a large party.
Visitors Joining Us for Lunch Only
Looking for a nice place to enjoy lunch but don’t have time to tour the mansion? If you are coming for LUNCH ONLY and do not want to see the mansion, you can visit via Ossipee Park Road (the entrance to CG Roxane Bottling Plant) free of charge. All entry via the Main Gate will need to pay admission. Feel free to call our main offices at 603-476-5900 for directions to Ossipee Park Road.
One special perk for Friends of the Castle: you can visit with all your guests for lunch and access the Scenic Road via the Main Gate free of charge! So long as there is one Friend of the Castle in the car, admission to the Scenic Road is waived for each individual. Bring your guests to the Falls of Song for a scenic trip before you dine at our restaurant! This is a great option for locals who like to visit for lunch and enjoy the scenic trip.
