Have you ever wondered how New Hampshire was formed? Have you heard rumors that the Castle sits on an imploded volcano? Join Bob Newton, Professor of Geology at Smith College, for a walk on the Castle grounds. Bob will explain the geologic events that shaped the landscape and the Ossipee Ring Dike.

Please meet outside the Carriage House at 10:00am. Remember to use Ossipee Park Road for entrance on to the property, park in the main lot and walk to the Carriage House.
