Join our Gardener, Gretchen Large in touring both Lucknow’s historic and modern garden landscapes, and leave with some general gardening tips and tricks for you to use at home! Gretchen is excited to share her passion for gardening – displayed in the beautiful and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces around the Castle – with you. She even has her own business called The Random Gardener!
Please arrive five minutes early, guests can add on our Garden Tour to their general admission ticket for the Lucknow tour.

Garden tours are $12 and are approximately 45 minutes long. Tour space is limited to 15 participants and pre-registration is required.
The Garden Tour begins at the Carriage House, where participants will be transported to the Castle on our vintage trolley. To access The Carriage House, please use the following address:

Take Ossipee park road and bear right through the open fields, past the Cafe to our large visitor parking lot above on the left (The Carriage House is just beyond the parking lot). Parking is available in our visitor lot, and accessible parking is available right in front of the Carriage House.
This event includes walking through our gardens. Please dress for the morning’s weather and wear comfortable footwear.
This program is dependent upon the weather. Garden Tours will be canceled if inclement weather is forecasted. You will be contacted via phone or email the day prior to the event if the program is canceled. In the case of the Castle Preservation Society canceling the event, a refund will be available.
