Join us to collect data and learn more about butterflies! Join naturalists from our partners at Tin Mountain Conservation Center to collect butterfly data that helps us understand our natural world. Following a brief informational presentation, we’ll take to the fields as a group to make observations about butterflies and to start collecting data. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing.

The program starts with a presentation in the Winnipesaukee Room, which is on the second floor of the Carriage House. To access the Carriage House, please use our entrance (GPS compatible) located at:

586 Ossipee Park Rd.
Moultonborough, NH 03254

Take Ossipee Park Road and bear right through the open fields, past the Café to our main visitor parking lot on the left. The Carriage House is located just a short walk beyond the parking lot. Accessible parking is available directly across from the Carriage House.

This program is weather-dependent, and the Castle reserves the right to cancel if there are fewer than 10 total participants registered. If the Castle cancels the program, you will be notified via phone or email the day before the program. In the rare circumstance that we are forced to cancel, we hope to have you at another program in the future!
