Explore the Castle grounds as you go Birding with Bob Ridgely, distinguished ornithologist.

Walk the Castle’s meadows and woods as Bob Ridgely calls to well-known and exotic birds. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars and notebook to record your finds. Space is limited for this program and it does fill up quickly.

MORE INFORMATION

Use Ossipee Park Road for entry as the main gate will be closed. Park in the main parking lot and walk to The Carriage House for check in. The walk will depart the Carriage House at 8:30am, so plan to arrive a little early to check in.

Wear comfortable walking shoes, sun protection and dress for the weather. This event will be canceled if there are severe storms in the forecast. All guests who have signed up in advance will be contacted directly if the event is canceled.

Please note our pet policy prohibits pets from attending special events such as Birding with Bob Ridgely. We ask that you leave your pets at home so they do not scare the birds away. Thank you!
