DESCRIPTION:Experience Lucknow like never before in this immersive theater performance! The internationally-touring theater company Live History is visiting Castle in the Clouds to bring its history to life in a new way. \nIt’s 1921\, and you’ve just read in the local paper that the Lucknow estate is looking for new help. You’ve been waiting for this\, but it seems as though in order to get the job\, you’ll have to pass a very difficult interview. You will need to excel at several skills and fit well with the team in order to gain one of the coveted few spots. You and your team will have to race against the clock\, all while maintaining honour and dignity\, in order to succeed. \n“The Interview” is a fun\, fast paced show that allows the audience to dive into the life of a servant in the past. The tasks will range from mental puzzles to physical chores and include many fun but challenging adventures. \nThe audience will work independently and with their competition in order to attempt to be hired at Lucknow Mansion\, all while learning about the history of the estate and those who came before them. \nSpace is limited; be sure to register to reserve your spot. \nAll ticket sales are final; no refunds\, transfers to other days\, or exchanges. \nRegister for 5:00 – 6:00 pm

SUMMARY:Hikers Club: Brook Walk via Turtleback Mtn Trail
DESCRIPTION:Led by an experienced volunteer hiker\, this week’s hike is the Brook Walk via Turtleback Mountain Trail. This is a moderate level hike that is about 1.8 miles and has an elevation climb of approximately 370′. This is a free program\, though registration is required. \nPlease wear appropriate footwear for hiking and dress for the weather. Bring sunscreen\, bug spray\, and snacks as desired. Please note\, you will be asked to sign a waiver upon arrival. While dogs on leashes are usually permitted on the trails\, for the comfort of all attendees\, dogs are not allowed at this program.

DESCRIPTION:Disobey your mother and look at the sun…through a hydrogen-alpha telescope! Each Monday\, members of the NH Astronomical Society will set up their telescopes in the field by Shannon Pond. Feel free to drop by and speak with the astronomers\, learn about the sun\, and try out their telescopes anytime between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm.  \nSolar Gazing requires clear skies. In the event that it is raining or overcast\, there will be an opportunity to chat with the astronomers in the Winnipesaukee Room on the second floor of the Carriage House instead.  \nThis is a free program and registration is encouraged but not required.
