DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER. \nWould you like to help us prepare our buildings\, trolleys\, and grounds for our opening day? \nVolunteers will be asked to help with tasks such as clearing sticks and raking leaves\, painting\, cleaning the trolleys\, sprucing up our indoors and outdoors facilities and grounds\, and more. This is a great opportunity to get moving after the winter while making a difference at the same time! \nTools will be provided or bring your own favorite rake\, paint brushes\, etc. (for those who want to bring their own\, small power tools – like a leaf blower – you will be asked to sign a volunteer release form). Also\, please bring your own gloves and any snacks\, water\, insect repellent and sunscreen you may need while you work. \nArrive at 9:00am to enjoy complimentary pastries and coffee and be done by noon. \nIn appreciation for your time and energy\, you will each receive two complimentary tickets to come back to tour the Lucknow mansion during the 2025 season! \nQuestions? Join the Head Housekeeper for your orientation and mini-tour as you prepare for the Plants’ return to the Lakes Region from their travels. As you make your way through the house\, the Housekeeper will give you tasks to complete to test your skills and make sure that you are right for the job. \n“Opening Up Lucknow” is a fun\, fast paced show that allows the audience to delve into the life of a servant in the past. The tasks will range from mental puzzles to physical chores and include many fun\, challenging adventures. \nSpace is limited; be sure to register to reserve your spot. \nAll ticket sales are final; no refunds\, transfers to other days\, or exchanges.
