Fantasy Explored with Puppets, Masks and Mime
Visiting children can enjoy the fun of playing with puppets and transforming themselves with masks. Lisa Thompson and local school children will present an interactive session with puppets and masks on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Exhibition and Sale of Lakes Region Paintings
"Lake Effect, Landscape Paintings of New Hampshire's Lakes Region," presented by the Banks Gallery of Portsmouth, New London and Jackson, is a display and sale of contemporary and historic paintings of the Lakes Region by well-known American landscape artists. The public may also attend an Artist's Reception, Sunday, July 12, at 5:30 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. The $25 per person donation will benefit the Castle Restoration Fund. Antique and Classic Car Show on the Meadow

Pond Ecology
Bob Craycraft, naturalist with the UNH Extension Service, will delve into Shannon Pond to demonstrate how its food chain progresses from micro-organisms to giant trout. Limited participation, $5 grounds pass applies.

Introduction to GPS
Karen Bennett, naturalist with the UNH Extension Service, will teach participants GPS basics, then let them practice finding assigned locations on their own. Limited participation, $5 grounds pass applies.

Native American Indians and the Seven Years War - Free Lecture
William Fowler, professor at Northeastern University and author of "Empires at War, the French and Indian War and the Struggle for America," NH Extension Service, will discuss the French and Indian War as a preparation for the American Revolution. Details on Events page. Appetizers, drinks, and dinners will be available at the Cafe and Patio beginning at 5:30 p.m. before this lecture.
