$8 per person or FREE for Friends of the Castle
While we tend to steer clear of plants like poison ivy or poison oak, there are many varieties in your own back yard that you can use to cure common ailments. Herbalist Andrea Marshall will encourage participants to study, harvest and harness the power of medicinal herbs. With a focus on ecology, sustainability and medicinal use, Andrea will demonstrate how to carefully collect specimens for study. After the walk, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the safe and traditional home preparations using non toxic plants, fungi and lichen.
This walk will begin at The Carriage House at 10:00am. Remember to use Ossipee Park Road for entrance on to the property, park in the main lot and walk to The Carriage House.
Cost for the event is $8 per person or free for Friends of the Castle. Not a Friend yet? Click here for information! Castle Friends attend all Walks and Talks FREE!
Space is limited and reservations are highly recommended. Call 603-476-5900 for more information or to make reservations.
