Walks & Talks
Presented by: Bob Ridgely
Monday June 29th at 8:30am
$8 per person or FREE for Friends of the Castle
Come and explore the Castle grounds with Bob Redgely, distinguished ornithologist. Walk through the fields and woods as Bob brings well known and exotic birds into view. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars and notebook to record your finds! In 2011, Bob spotted a Savannah Sparrow in the fields by Shannon Pond; it’s one of the first he’s ever seen in New Hampshire!
Please note this special start time – our bird walk will depart from The Carriage House at 8:30am. Remember to use Ossipee Park Road for entrance on to the property, park in the main lot and walk to The Carriage House.
Cost for the event is $8 per person or free for Friends of the Castle. Not a Friend yet? Click here for information! Castle Friends attend all Walks and Talks FREE!
Space is limited and reservations are highly recommended. Call 603-476-5414 for more information or to make reservations.
