The Quest for Happiness

Can money buy happiness? To what extent does engaging in one’s community impact how happy we are? When worldwide surveys of happiness are conducted, why doesn’t the United States make the top ten?

Join us as we kick off our Wellness Wednesday series on June 28th at 7:00pm. Embarking on a quest for happiness with Maria Sanders, Associate Professor at Plymouth State University. Maria will explore how ideas of happiness have changed in Western Civilization through the ages, while comparing and contrasting major concepts of well-being throughout the world. Learn the answers to the questions posed above – and you just may find yours!

Date & Time

This event will take place at 7:00pm on Wednesday June 28th. It will be approximately one hour long. Doors will open at 6:45pm.

Location & Directions

This program will take place in the Winnipesaukee Room, which is located the second floor of the Carriage House. Please use Ossipee Park Road for entry, park in our main parking lot and walk to The Carriage House. Accessible parking is available for those with proper tags, located just outside The Carriage House.

Touring the Mansion

If you would like to tour the historic Lucknow mansion prior to this event, please arrive on property no later than 4:00pm to purchase tickets at the Front Gate, located on Route 171. Admission to the Lucknow mansion is not included in this program.
