Outdoor Explorations: Wildflower Walk, Saturday May 27th

Spring is the time for the woods and paths at the Castle to come alive with delicate wild flowers.  Ever wonder what that flower is in your own back yard? Join us and earn to recognize some of the most common flowering plants. You will also learn how to use a field guide to identify specific flowers, and hear more about their habitats and what medicinal or culinary uses they might have. Exhibit Opening: Finding Place on Paper, Friday June 16th

Preview a multi-media exhibit at the Carriage House Gallery that showcases work by local artists and poets and provides a fascinating perspective on artists’ and poets’ personal connections to some of our state’s most iconic environments.  It demonstrates how a combination of words and visual images can enhance and deepen our appreciation for these special landscapes.  Click here for details about this exhibit opening, including admission fees. Antique & Classic Automobile Event, Saturday July 8th

Join us for our annual Antique & Classic Automobile Event with a gathering of automobiles from the past at this classic country estate. View stunning examples of auto dating from the turn of the century through 1979.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase in the Meadows by Shannon Pond, where the show will take place.
